Florence is found dead and mutilated. When Nathalie hears about this in the bar where she plays piano she becomes interested. She tries to get in touch with the people who knew Florence closely. In 1940s Turkey, the war is recently over, but the wounds are still fresh, and the WWII is going on next door. A different family lives in each room of a mansion. They all lead a scarce life but hold on to life with hope.

Play about an elderly couple who don't want to be moved from the house in which they have lived all their lives, but may be forced to as they live in a designated redevelopment area. The major point as far as they're concerned is that their piano won't fit in one of the new council places they have been offered.

Katie, a shy newspaper accountant submits a reply to a "Dear Viola" letter to the editor that she works for, anonymously. She has a real knack for writing to people and getting to the heart of the matter. Soon, she takes over the newspaper's advice column and falls in love with one of her correspondents. The whole town becomes involved in the romantics.

Rarity is trying to move a grand piano into the band room for practice, so she gets the Diamond Boys to help her.
